Hot on the heels of Josh Ritter and his band’s sensational Electric Picnic performance to a packed Crawdaddy Tent, we are thrilled to announce an upcoming concert here that will have Josh returning to Ireland like he has never before: with a full 24 piece orchestra behind him.
Though Josh has taken to incorporating a small horn section to some of his live performances, no one expected the glorious spectacle this past June when he and his band had the honor to perform an unforgettable concert with the legendary Boston Pops Orchestra at Symphony Hall. It was a magical night that featured Josh’s music performed and experienced like never before.
And now Josh would like to recapture that magic with his longtime, loyal fans of Ireland. Playing songs from across his five album catalog and more, this will be unlike any Josh Ritter concert before it, as his arsenal of classics and fan favorites will be accompanied by the grandiose strings, horns, percussion and more from the giant orchestra. This promises to be a very memorable night indeed!
